Food provided from a farmer near you is best eaten in the same locale. The savings in petroleum, clean air, and the more humane treatment of the animals are all goals our Ranch pursues. There is something to be said for the French food concept of "terroir" -- that food is unique to a place, and we think that of our beef and lamb.
